FAQ
Questions, answered
Answers about file formats, video length, privacy, supported browsers, and how Repicx edits your photos.
What image files can I upload?+
JPG, PNG and WebP up to 12MB. Large photos are downscaled in your browser before they are sent, which keeps transformations fast.
Can I download just the edited image?+
Yes. After a transformation you can download the AI-generated image as a PNG, with or without exporting the video.
What are the video dimensions?+
1080×1920 at 30fps — the native vertical frame for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. Captions sit inside safe margins so platform UI never covers them.
Which browsers support video export?+
Any browser with MediaRecorder: Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari 15+. Chrome and Firefox produce WebM, Safari produces MP4 — TikTok accepts both.
Do you store my photos?+
No. Your image is sent to the model provider for the edit and returned to your browser. Nothing is written to a database or bucket, and refreshing clears the session.
Which model does the editing?+
An AI image-editing model accessed through OpenRouter. It preserves the composition of your photo while applying the change you describe.
Can I post directly to TikTok?+
Not yet — you download the clip and upload it in the TikTok app. Direct publishing is on the roadmap.
Why did my edit fail?+
Usually a blocked prompt, a rate limit, or an unusually large file. The studio shows the provider's actual message so you know which one it was.
